These underground hole-in-the-wall places are truly the best. It's in the basement of the Golden Shopping Mall (we had a bit of trouble finding it at first as I didn't even know the basement existed), and there's some tables and chairs for people to sit and eat. I got a knife-cut noodle soup with pig stomach, and it's one of those places where you order and pay first then eat. I ordered the knife-cut noodles but they gave me the normal noodles, and they asked if I said I wanted the knife-cut ones. I know I did so I told them so, and they changed it for me. The pig stomach was great, and the noodles were chewy. Soup could've done with more flavor, but the spicy chili oil they have is delicious. I really like this place! Super affordable too at $7 per bowl.

The noodles were awesome! Freshly made in the shop in front of you, it was a good blend of chewy and softness. The soup base was also not bad and just the right amount of saltyness. However, I had the barbecue pork noodles and the barbecue pork was too chewy. Service is insanely quick with food delivered in 2 mins.

You know you got this place when you hear the screaming order taker. Great a year ago then returned this year and quite poor. Why miss the other vendors for these now clumpy, stuck together overcooked noodles and the least expensive ingredients if not scraps or not fresh? In our party, Friends had great bbq skewers (near the rest rooms) - opposite corner phenomenal dumplings of ever sort - (so outstanding they do more - to go for chinese moms, the food court has half the places serving noodles of every sort - why go with their duck in the soup from the breast where it is almost all bone and fat? There is a teriyaki place, place for potato noodles, unique taiwanese food near the dumpling place also on the back far wall. There are few places that bring top cuts of downstairs - do noodles right - yet Lanzhou in a seafood saute gave clams that tasted dead and lifeless, two medium shrimp of no personality, sides sraps of squid and two of tbe cheapest artificial crab sticks ever, nothing of great quantity, a few green pepper squares and the balance bean sprouts. Do not waste $9.00. They opened a year ago and the chef must have gone to open locations elsewhere.
